Job Introduction

BBC Children’s In-House Productions is looking for a highly motivated Senior Content Producer to lead the production of digital and interactive content for In-House brands. This role will be a 3 month backfill and will primarily focus on our scripted drama shows aimed at 6-16 year olds.

We are currently looking for a Senior Content Producer to work across Scripted Brands within the Children's Interactive InHouse team from mid-April 2019. 

Main Responsibilities

Working to the Digital Lead, In-House Productions, and alongside TV Production teams, you will manage a team of Content Producers and lead on the production of digital content that will go on iPlayer, YouTube, CBBC Website and Instagram. We have some exciting projects, including series 3 of The Worst Witch  Zapchat, a brand new format for The Dumping Ground that will go alongside the new series, and the latest iteration of Hetty Feather’s Diaries. 

Working alongside our Development teams, you will also be instrumental in developing exciting new digital ideas for of some of our newer shows.

Are you the right candidate?

The perfect candidate will have excellent team and project management skills, first class editorial judgment and the ability to deliver content on time and to budget, as well as strong track record of hands on production and delivering successful online content that engages audiences and increases reach. Experience working on drama productions is desirable, and a passion for the genre is a must.
